This cocoa comes from the tropical North of Guatemala, where dense forests, the calm waters of the Rio Dulce. Surrounded by the singing of birds and the jungle scent and warm rain, thrives in moist, nutrient-rich soil.
The beans are especially rich in cocoa butter and give the cocoa a soft, almost creamy Texture. Its taste is sweet, gentle and reminiscent of ripe fruit, cocoa, touches the heart and the spirit, wrapped like a warm fog in the Morning.

The cocoa is processed in Tzununa on lake Atitlán – of a collective of mostly single mothers who devote themselves with great devotion, and of ritual, mindfulness of the finishing prefer. Here, each bean is peeled by hand, and with prayer and singing blessed.
